While onions can maintain good cholesterol levels, it can have a strong influence on blood pressure as well. Make sure that you prepare these onions well, and your entire diet will be that much more effective.

Organic olive oil, which was touched on earlier, has its own benefits to account for. Monounsaturated fats should also be looked into, since these are fats that the body can actually make positive use out of. Simply put, this is one type of oil that your pantry should not be without.

Not unlike organic olive oil, as reference earlier, it seems like green tea is one of the better drinks for antioxidant purposes. Regardless of how you like your tea - hot or cold - this is yet another option to round out your regimen for healthier purposes.
